Icy Morning

We got a little more snow last evening, mixed with ice and rain. I awoke in the middle of the night to the sound of ice pelting the windows and covering the layer of ice and snow already on the ground. This morning when I got outside, the ice had already started to melt and drip from the trees, falling rhythmically to the leaves below.
